City Of Perry – Waste Water Treatment Lagoons Rehabilitation

Village Of Dryden – Dryden Road Reconstruction (East And West)

Workhorse Civil Design provided design and construction engineering for reconstruction of Dryden Road from Railroad Street to the east Village limits. The project involved federal and state grant money and was therefore completed in accordance with MDOT specification and requirements. After successful completion of the east section under budget, the Village hired Workhorse to provide design and construction engineering for reconstruction of Dryden Road from Union Street to the west Village limits. see more

Village Of Fowler – Utility Mapping

Workhorse Civil Design developed water and sewer location maps with aerial background. Workhorse also field verified valve, hydrant and manhole locations in order to accurately depict utilities and provide useful locating information for DPW staff. see more

City Of Perry – Iron Removal WTP, Secondary Transmission Main, Backwash Detention and Gravity Sewer

Workhorse Civil Design provided design and construction engineering for a new well, iron removal water treatment plant, new steel building, a secondary transmission main, and backwash discharge storage and sewer. The project was funded through the MDEQ – DWRF low interest loan program.   see more

Village Of Fowler – Arsenic Removal WTP, Water Main and Backwash Sewer

Workhorse Civil Design provided design services / construction plans for a new water treatment plant, building addition, water main and backwash discharge sewer. The project was funded through the MDEQ – DWRF low interest loan program and allowed the Village to provide low arsenic water for the community. see more

Village Of Ubly – New Well And Village Wide Water Meters

Workhorse Civil Design provided design services / construction plans for a new well, well house, water main, well abandonments and new individual water meters to convert to a metered customer base. The project was funded through the MDEQ – DWRF low interest loan program and allowed the Village to provide low arsenic water for the community. see more

Village Of Dryden – Waste Water Treatment Lagoons Capacity Analysis

Workhorse Civil Design analyzed and calculated the available capacity within the Waste Water Treatment Lagoons. The analysis involved calculation of the lagoon volumes, analysis of existing sanitary flow rates, calculation of the lagoons discharge rates based on design plans and a mass balance of flow through the lagoons.   see more

Brandon School District (5 Schools) Drinking Water Arsenic Removal Systems

Workhorse Civil Design designed water treatment systems to remove arsenic in order for the Brandon School District to meet revised EPA requirements. The systems involved adsorption utilizing Sunshine Water Treatment tanks and media. The system for each school involved backwash water disposal concerns and numerous permits from local, county and state agencies.  see more

Lapeer County Road Commission Plan Reviews

Workhorse Civil Design provided plan review services for new construction projects on behalf of the LCRC. New construction projects impacting Lapeer County roads must be designed according to LCRC standards. Workhorse reviewed plans for conformance and engineering concerns. see more

Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church: New San Juan Diego Activities Center

Workhorse Civil Design worked in cooperation with THA Architects to provide design of site work associated with a new Activities Center. Workhorse Civil Design was responsible for grading, parking lot improvements, new sanitary and water services, site drainage system with detention pond, soil erosion control, landscaping, and permits from MDEQ, Genesee County Drain Commission and Mt.
